I was wanting to backup games on portable HDD for the wii and be able to them so I started looking into it. I came across this helpful youtube video: External Link Removed
I followed what he did and got the HBC and followed his instructions on how to get USB Loader GX installed and working.
His instructions:
I followed his instructions to the letter so I have the same file versions as he says.
So I got it working first time, backed up my Monster Hunter and started playing it... all seemed good and I was very happy...
BUT... after a while the controller stopped responding, the game didn't crash because it was still animating... I thought "meh w/e" and reset the console. After the reset I could no longer load up the USB Loader, it kept getting stuck on the "Loading" screen for it.
Did a little bit of googling found out that there is a much more up to date version of it... v3... So I downloaded it and installed it.
Now I can launch USB Loader and select a game... however when it is trying to launch the game it comes up with error #001, unauthorized device detected.
